2026 Catch-a-Trout Program

Our seven fishing sessions for 2026 are open for registration.

Space is very limited and available spots typically fill very quickly.

Registration is by email only!

Choose your top-3 sessions below and email to gavinspoint@fws.gov

More Information:
 
  • There is no charge for this event. 
 
  • Equipment and bait (worms) are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
  • We will not be cleaning fish, but each angler may take up to 2 home for dinner.
  • Photos may be taken for use with GPNFH social media.
  • Portable bathrooms will be on site.


Other items to consider bringing:
  • Portable chairs or a tarp/blanket to sit on
  • Warm clothing – there is little wind protection
  • Snacks/drinks

If you have people in your party with mobility issues you may drive out to the pond to drop them off and pick them up. Please return the vehicle to the hatchery parking lot during the event.
Participants may be photographed at the events and images may be used in official services such as publications, displays, and on the Internet. There will be a photo release form to sign.
